Think Like a Master ("the App") is a chess study application developed by Kenneth Sparks ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.
The App does not require account creation and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location. However, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) collects device-level identifiers to serve advertisements. See the "Advertising" section below for full details and opt-out options.

This data is never transmitted to external servers. It may be cleared by uninstalling the App or clearing app data in your device settings.
The App uses on-device chess analysis (the open-source Stockfish engine and a local machine-learning model) to evaluate positions and generate study recommendations. None of your gameplay, moves, or analysis data is sent to our servers or to any third party. All chess computation happens entirely on your device.
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Remove Ads") processed entirely by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android). We do not receive, store, or process your payment information. Purchase records are managed by your device's platform (App Store or Google Play).
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements to users who have not purchased the ad-free upgrade. AdMob may use the advertising identifier and other signals to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:
When you decline tracking, the App still reports anonymous, aggregated ad-performance events to advertisers using Apple's SKAdNetwork framework. SKAdNetwork is designed so that this attribution data cannot be used to identify you personally.

The App is rated 4+ (iOS) / Everyone (Google Play) and has general-audience content. It is not directed at children under 13, is not submitted to the Kids Category on either platform, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents who wish to disable personalized advertising for their children should use the device-level opt-out controls described in the Advertising section above.

We do not retain personal data on any server. All locally stored data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data. Advertising identifiers are managed by your device OS and the AdMob SDK.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Since the App does not collect or store personal data on our servers, most data rights are exercised directly through your device settings (see Advertising section above).
